LUGOD LIBRARY - BOOKS
The Lending Library Is Gone
Until March 2008, LUGOD maintained a collection of nearly 150 books
(and at times, periodicals and software)
relating to Linux, Open Source, and related technologies. They were
available for check out, for free, to any LUGOD member.
At the March 2008 LUGOD meeting,
due to lack of check-outs, space requirements, and the rareness of new
donations, a proposal was made to remove the library and librarian sections
from our By-laws and make a plan to
donate our book collection to local libraries, and raffle and/or give away
the remaining books to LUGOD members.
