LUGOD's Booth at the 2008 Whole Earth Festival

UC Davis Quad

Photos by Bill Kendrick

At the last minute, LUGOD discovered our application for a booth at Whole Earth Festival at UC Davis was accepted. At the very last minute, Chris McKenzie and Nick Schmalenberger decided to just go ahead and put our booth together, and hope that others will help them staff the booth over the weekend.

Nick Schmalenberger staffing the booth (and fixing the canopy).

Stacks of discs that Chris McKenzie burned the night before.

A PC and an original iMac running Linux.

We're connected to the solar array near the Quad Stage.

Running Tux Paint, what a surprise!

Bill Kendrick's son works two Linux boxes at once.
