Nicole Carlson, setting up her Linux laptop.

LUGOD's "Display," including some great photos from meetings and other
events, some photos of cool Linux-based devices, and a list of some of
the more troublesome problems with Microsoft.

A stack of handouts, EFF pamphlets, DemoLinux bootable CDROMs (thanks to
Joel Baumert and Jim Riffel of Z-World) and Mandrake 8.1 installation CDs
(thanks to Mandrakesoft).

At one point, we had three laptops going. Shade was a necessity!

Some LUGOD folks dropped by and helped answer questions.

We started near the walkway, where Bill Kendrick forced pamphlets and discs
upon unsuspecting passers-by...

Until we found out where we were SUPPOSED to be set up. After moving,
people took a break...

Nicole moved near a lamppost to juice her laptop's battery back up, and
check her e-mail. (We had wireless going!)

Bill Kendrick's Zaurus got some use, too...

The DemoLinux CDs looked cool!

Tired out, Bill stops harassing people, so Melissa waits for our next
customer.

We also couldn't resist the solar power booth, next to us.
