LUGOD changes announced / Elections Survey

Per our officer's meeting this week [http://www.lugod.org/meeting/past/2011.02.01.php], LUGOD will soon be ending our LERT (Linux Emergency Relief Team) [http://www.lugod.org/lert/] service (please use our 'vox-tech' mailing list [http://www.lugod.org/mailinglists/#vox-tech], Installfest workshops [http://www.lugod.org/if/] and/or IRC chat channel [http://www.lugod.org/irc/]), our 'vox-outreach' mailing list [http://www.lugod.org/mailinglists/#vox-outreach] (use 'vox' [http://www.lugod.org/mailinglists/#vox] for event coordination), and our old CafePress.com shop [http://www.lugod.org/shop/].

Additionally, we forgot to hold elections for club officers [http://www.lugod.org/members/officers/] in October! We'll be holding an informal survey on 'vox' [http://www.lugod.org/mailinglists/#vox] to find out whether we should hold elections immediately, or just wait until this October.
