Announcing "Picn*x14":

  This August marks the 14th birthday of the Linux kernel, and the
  local Linux community is throwing its annual picnic and barbecue
  to celebrate.

  This year's event, "Picn*x14", will be held on Sunday, August 14th
  (the weekend following LinuxWorld Expo in San Francisco) in
  Sunnyvale, California:

Free Event, Free Food, Free Give-Aways:

  The picnic is a free, family-friendly event.  Free food and soft-drinks
  will be provided to those who RSVP in advance.  (Vegetarian options
  will be available.)  Sports, games and 'geeky' activities will take
  place.  (See http://www.linuxpicnic.org/activities/ for details.)

  There will be free give-aways (books, t-shirts and more),
  free commemorative t-shirts (courtesy of Google.com) and
  a chance to win some big-ticket prizes:

About the Annual Picnic:

  Picn*x began in 2001 as "Linux10", to celebrate the 10th birthday of
  the Linux operating system, and has been held annually, each August,
