But very well advised. Thanks to Micah Cowan (again) and 
Rick Moen. I will take all that manna to the nice man at
Excell Computers and we'll see if we can work something out.
Perhaps he will have a demo machine set up to try the
bootable Knoppix on. If i try something of this magnitude on
my IMAC, i can see armageddon around the next corner. I'm
ALMOST making some income with digital imagery, and i can't
afford to jeopardize the status quo.

The failed attempt at humor: it's just that there was such
carrying on about *flaming*, i feel so dumb about this
business...and i have this irradiated sense of humor
(Somewhere up there in the MEVs). Anyway, never met a more
compassionate Mail List Admin.
