The BALUG speaker tonight will be Steven "Dillo" Okay, on the nature
of Bluetooth, and a demonstration of practical matters, in other words
how to get the darn thing to connect up with bluetooth enabled small
gadgets.
Slides and a demo.
As you probably know BALUG has the usual batch of door prizes. Extras
are welcome too.
If you don't know:
7 PM at the Four Seas Restaurant, S.F. Chinatown, Grant Street
(between Clay and Montgomery, or thereabouts)
8 PM the hubbub tries to die down
shortly after that, the speaker talks for an hour or so
9:30ish Door prizes!
10 PM - Get out of the restaurant, they close.
Anyone inclined to keep chatting cna stand outside,
and/or go to afterdinner at Mel's diner near the
Metreon (5th and Fulsom, approx.)
If you're going, I'll see you there!
If you can't make it, he'll be giving a smaller and more hands-on form
of the same talk at the U.S.S. Augusta Ada meeting, 4th Saturday, Round
Table Pizza in the Richmond District. 16th and Geary, S.F.
