There is always something to be said for headhunters (as long as you find
good ones). I know of two that do not suck (in my experience):

www.jaegergroup.com
Both are local to the south bay area, but they Jaeger has covered north of
Sac down to Monterey. I also recently made a contact at Hall Kinion, but
I am hoarding that one for myself...
