I just quickly re-read Joe's article
(http://www.linuxworld.com/site-stories/2002/0508.rms.html), and saw no
question.  Am I missing something?

The first half of Richard's rejoinder strikes me as a fairly
straightforward direct response to Joe.  He then justifies switching
subjects in the second half to Bitkeeper and proprietary code in the
kernel by saying the SIGLINUX issue "came up in the context of Linux
(the kernel) and Bitkeeper".

I've seen some over-the-top RMS rants, but this doesn't look like one of
