I don't see why not, but it might be a problem if we wanted to require the 
purchase of a ticket ( I was thinking this would be a good way to raise 
funds, charging ( $2-5 ) for a ticket to buy/sell ) to parcipate.

I don't how asking could hurt, anyone willing to ogrnize this and fill out 
the needed forms. 

If the city doesn't want a swarm of geeks in the park, we could do it at ucd 
or in the parking lot of some bussiness somewhere.
