/me sighs a sigh of relief

For further protection suguest you convert the mailto: urls to look like
mailto:%79%6f%74%74%61%62%79%74%65%73@%68%6f%74%6d%61%69%6c%2e%63%6f%6d
which worked fine with all the browsers I tried. In the html to be rendered
as text you can do the same
thing, replaceing charcters with &#[asciicode]; or &#x[asciicode-in-hex]; (eg
@ or &#x40 for @ )
and adding a few heading zeros to those works too. comments in the middle of
addresses are nice too.

here's an example of a few of these techniques combined.

Email 1: r<!-- <a href=mailto:abuse@porn.org -->ya<!--
-->&#00000110;@ca<!-- -->l.net
Email 2: r<!-- -->&#x0000079;<!-- -->an<!--
-->@moth<!-- -->e<!-- -->r.com
Email 3: r<!-- -->yan<!-- -->@davi<!--
-->s.c<!-- -->om
Email 4: yott<!-- -->ahe<!-- -->rtz<!-- -->@<!-- -->hot<!-- -->ma<!--
-->il.c<!-- -->om

They render fine, but will cause a spam spider not runing an actual HTML
intrepter a few dozen headaches.
abuse@porn.org is in there in the hopes that they will harvest it and send an
email to what resolves to abuse@localhost.

I'm not gonna even go in to the fun that can be had with javascript ;)
