The Loki HQ is in Tustin, about 8-9 hours away. Sams girlfriend lives in
Stockton (or thereabouts) which is only about an hour and a half away.

BTW, Sam isnt at Loki anymore, as a matter of fact most of the remaining
of Lokis dev team telecommutes, so what you would mostly see is an
administrative office.
