Re: [vox-tech] "File->Send Link" on Firefox?

It works for me, probably because I've configured Firefox to use Thunderbird by adding the line

user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.mailto", "thunderbird");

to the file ~/.mozilla/firefox/default.xxx/user.js.

From what I've read that should work for clicking on an e-mail link in a web page, but that should not work for trying to send a URL by clicking on File->Send Link. So does it really work for File->Send Link?

Are you using GNOME? Some, but not all, people using GNOME find it easier to get Firefox to work with e-mail programs.
