That doesn't look like the same thing. For example, consider:
Oracle: TRANSLATE('string','str','rst') -> 'rsting'
MySQL: REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE('string','s','r'),'t','s'),'r','t')->'tsting'
Not that I got any better solution. =P
