RJ-11 is a 6 conductor (usually only 4 implimented) telco jack. It is
_NOT_ an RJ-48.

RJ-48 is the standard 8 conductor plug, used in 10baseT and 100baseT

RJ-14 is the 4 conductor plug that is usually used for handsets.
