[vox-tech] NIC cards and Autodetection

  • Subject: [vox-tech] NIC cards and Autodetection
  • From: "Jay Strauss" <jstrauss@bazilliMAPSon.com>
  • Date: Sun, 01 Oct 2000 06:32:00 -0700

Why are some cards autodetected (i.e when performing "checking for new hardware"
during boot) and some are not?

If you have 2 cards, each a different brand. Will only one be autodetected?

How would I make a card be auto detected?
