Hey everybody,

Lucid is looking to hire a sysadmin to work with me and our small, agile 
development team. We're currently looking at it as primarily a dev-ops 
role, with some work on office and production systems, too.

We're a debian, python, mysql (though not for long) shop, and I'm 
looking for somebody who can jump in at a shell and start learning how 
to build, package, and use our stack; how to set up lab instances, test 
environments, and databases; manage repos, hooks, and builds; and hit 
the ground running in a dev-ops role. We'll also need you to help out 
with some office IT, QA, customer integrations, and production systems; 
and, of course, participate in an on-call rotation.

Lucid is an innovative, profitable start-up of around 30 people, doing 
some really great work on energy monitoring and feedback. The 
engineering team you'll be joining consists of a handful of agile 
developers operating under a modified-scrum methodology, plus me.

Our office is in downtown Oakland, a quick walk from 12th st bart; 
telecommuting a couple days a week is likely possible once you're up to 
speed.
