Tennessee. Her message follows.


My name is Aubrey Young, and I am a technical recruiter here in the
Memphis area with TEKsystems.

Job Description:

Our client needs to bring on TWO RESOURCES for a 6 month contract with
the potential to extend and potential to go permanent. This role is
for a Linux Red Hat Operational Systems Engineer. This role will be on
the Operations side of the Infrastructure group. This person will be
assisting in the day to day upgrades, patches, troubleshooting various
issues as well as project specific roles. This person will be one of 2
Red Hat resources on the Operations side. This role is a true Systems
admin as they will need to have had experience supporting Apache /
Web Services on Linux. This is NOT a hardware only position. This is
systems and software support.

Day to Day duties: 

This is a Linux Red Hat Operational Engineer role. This individual will
need to be a strong member of the team aiding in the various migrations
taking place.  Any knowledge of the middleware piece (Weblogic) and Java
would be a big help, but not necessarily required. Apache experience is
needed and any experience with Tomcat would be a big plus also.

6 month contract to start. Potential to extend up to a year and
possibility to go perm.

Skills for this role:
1. Candidate will need to be a seasoned Linux Red Hat Operational Engineer.
2. Experience working with Apache and even Tomcat would be a huge plus.
3. A versatile candidate is needed that can jump on different type
   projects within the Linux Systems role as well as handle support issues
   when they arise.
