We are looking for a talented multi-tasking individual to work in a fun and
innovative team environment utilizing open source databases of MySQL and
PostgreSQL powering cutting edge web applications.

Job Title: Builds Engineer;

Position Type; Full-time regular employee with full benefits;

Responsibilities: 

* Deliver reliable, timely and reproducible builds for project teams 
* Deploy and maintain Production, QA, and Development environments 
* Quickly diagnose and fix compilation and deployment errors 
* Resolve issues relating to branching, merging, building of source code,
and integration of pre-built binaries 
* Own the architecture, implementation and ongoing development of one or
more project build systems 
* Improve the build automation infrastructure 
* Drive project-wide initiatives such as improved code coverage reporting,
automated unit testing, and automated deployments 

Requirements: 

* 3+ years of build, release, or software engineering experience 
* Successfully built & release software using agile software approach 
* Clear understanding of Continuous Integration, Software Componentization,
& continuous Staging 
* Delivered high-quality build systems using Ant and Maven 
* Strong understanding of branching, tagging, and merging methodologies and
processes 

Working Knowledge Of: 

* RPM package building and deployment 
* CVS and Subversion 
* Cfengine 
* Development experience with Java is preferred 
* Deployment and administration experience with Tomcat, JBoss, and Apache 
* Jira or other defect tracking systems 
* Junit or TestNG unit testing tools 
* Pulse or other continuous build systems 

Mandatory Requirements: 

* 3+ years experience with Linux 
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills 
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a
team environment 
* Bachelors Degree in CS or equivalent work experience 
* Strong troubleshooting, decision-making and problem-solving skills
