I am assisting to recruit a Senior SW Engineer for a great company located
in Seattle, WA.
COMPANY
Founded in 1997, they combine deep IT and life science expertise to deliver
customers a scientifically-sound, highly-efficient, fully-integrated, 21 CFR
Part 11 compliant informatics platform for managing the production, analysis
and communication of DNA sequencing and genotyping data.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties Include:
Design and implementation of APIs for Scientific Data management
Web application software development projects
Work with management, developers, and QA to manage the development of new
features, improvements, and bug fixes on multiple development branches
Assist with customer support troubleshooting
Provide technical experience to customer services team
Help the continual development of internal standard operating procedures
(SOP) for software development
Required Technical Skills:
At least 5 years of software development experience
Experience in the production of web applications on the Unix/mod_perl/Apache
framework
Experience in Linux, Solaris, and MacOSX operating systems
Experience with CVS, Shell programming, HTML, and Make
Experience with relational database, especially postgreSQL, Oracle and Solid
Experience with Perl a must
