ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides primary systems administration support to
company's Unix servers which include IBM, Sun and HP hardware.
Operating systems include AIX, Solaris, HP and Linux.  Duties include
troubleshooting and regular maintenance including mksysb, ufsdump,
applying fixes, apars, applying recommended patches, firmware updates,
operating system upgrades, volume group/logical volume
creation/modification, disk group/volume creation/modification, hardware
replacement, new lpar creation/modification, new domain
creation/modification, HACMP Cluster, Sun Cluster and Veritas Cluster
design, installation, configuration and performance of routine failover
testing.   

 

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  2+ years experience/working knowledge in
Unix Systems Administration 

 

EDUCATION:  4-year degree in computer science or related field or
equivalent experience. 

 

EXPECTED SCHEDULE:

Possible fixed night shift.

4x10 plan 7pm-5am tentatively Wed-Sat.
