Subject: [Balug-talk] Pogo Linux Jobs
Pogo Linux is seeking computer technicians, Linux specialists and assembly
staff for its new Fremont, CA facility. The company provides servers and
storage solutions to government, corporate and SMB customers around the
country. The Fremont facility is a secondary production facility and will
be growing over the next year.
Qualifications:
- Familiar with PC Hardware and troubleshooting
- Experience with assembling PCs
- Knowledge of multiple Linux OS's
- Familiar with loading software via kickstart server
- Ability to solve software/hardware incompatabilities
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot servers and storage solutions on a daily basis
- Assemble systems per QA process
- Oversee the load and configuration of multiple Linux operating systems
- Provide onsite repair to customers as needed
These positions are full-time, but can also be part time. Benefits include
Health, Dental, 401k, and vacation time.
