[JOB] Snort IDS Consultant, NYC
We are looking to retain a contractor who is an expert in configuring and maintaining Snort IDS systems.
This system will monitor the perimeter of a high-bandwidth ecommerce site (> 200Mbit sustained traffic), and we'll need our contractor to handle all phases of the rollout, from specifying equipment to tuning rules.
Our timeline is extremely aggressive, so we will only consider candidates with extensive relevant experience; this *not* an opportunity for a talented Linux hacker to learn snort.
Work can be done remotely, but consultant will HAVE to come to NYC office to set up devices. (1-2 days onsite); hence, local candidates are mandatory.
Rate is open if you’ve got the skills. 2-week contract.
