Please post these gigs. If you know of other LUGs, including BSD UGs
that will also post them, I implore you to also refer these gigs to
them. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks!

1. Chief Technology Officer, SourceView Corporation. 10 persons
needed. Degreed persons to help us produce several Phase I. SBIR/STTR
proposals for the feds. These are six month feasibility gigs for
$100,000 each, with a 1 in 6 success rate, followed by bigger bucks of
$750,000 (1 in 2 success ratio). We want to show the Feds that we can
produce something that is superior to current stuff, and yet has a
definite commercialization element of success. As marketers following
the Linux/Open Source market for 10 years, we have some great ideas that
can be implemented easily with the right folks. If you want something
different, have the paper and skills, and want a shot at the big bucks
high rep moon of DOD funding, we encourage you to contact us ASAP!!

2. Distribution Customization Technician. 20 persons needed. Fork
Heaven. One of the directions we firmly believe Linux/Open Source is
going and will go in the future is that of the Customized Software Tool
Set for organizations. We already see that in the kitchen sink
distributions, with China, Korea, Japan, Philippines, etc ad infinitum,
creating their own specialized distributions. We have a goal, that of
producing customized goal-driven, minimalist distributions for
organizations. Envision Diocese of Oakland Linux, Ikea Linux, United
Way Linux, etc. Each distribution taking advantage of the full OSI
stack, and presenting customized applications servers for orgs. Such as
Open Groupware, eCommerce, VOIP, Asterisk PBX, you name it. We need
someone to download, recompile and produce bootable CD/DVD's of a full
distribution reference CD for specific organizations. If this is
something you can get excited about, then contact us ASAP!!
