LINUX KERNEL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Develop and write linux kernel code for our Video software. Develop
code for a wide variety of kernel related issues. Work with other
engineers on the software team to integrate code into the product.
Debug code as needed.

 Job Requirements (Skills and Experience Needed): 
Requires 5+ years of software development experience with at least
3 years in the development of linux kernel software. 

Experience with kernel level coding in multi-processor environments
with real-time performance constraints, including experience in
measuring and tuning performance of critical timing code paths. 

Strong coding skills with the demonstrated ability to generate code
quickly and arrive at effective solutions in the shortest periods
of time are also required. 

Demonstrated expertise with all phases of the software development
life-cycle is required. 

Requires the proven ability to communicate effectively with other
team members, give and exchange technical information willingly,
influence appropriately and participate in the overall success of
the team. 

BSEE/CS or equivalent experience required
