Full-time project position for assistance in national rollout of 2,000
Linux-based retail servers.

This exciting position is reserved for a Linux expert who doesn't mind
working in a corporate environment where Linux is new (and appreciated, by
the way). Desirable traits we're looking for include:

Ø Positive attitude
Ø Ability to be proactive and act in an advisory role
Ø Top notch expertise with Debian and Novell/SuSE distributions
Ø IBM xSeries (or just plain Intel) expertise
Ø Excellent people skills
Ø Proven ability to teach in a group environment
Ø Some travel, but only in the Western U.S.
Ø SCO experience a plus, but not required
Ø High energy with an obvious passion for Linux
Ø Self-disciplined, positive, and courteous, helpful, and kind to those
seeking Linux assistance

After one year, the project focus will possibly convert to that of a Linux
consultant covering multiple accounts and opportunities around the SF Bay
Area, mainly focused on Novell/SuSE. Please include your certifications and
descriptions of your Linux accomplishments with your application.
Experience counts more than schooling.

This position is based in the East Bay and is available immediately. Dress
is casual, people are friendly, and the job pays depending on experience
plus excellent benefits.

Apply to hr@rs-unix.com; no calls, please.
