DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Install, configure and maintain Linux HPC and HA clusters
*Track operating system security fixes; integrate and test
*Testing of third party applications
*Troubleshoot
software/hardware/OS/application compatibility and configuration issues
*Onsite installation and debugging of customer systems

REQUIREMENTS:

*5 years Linux experience including developed sys admin skills
*Experience building and maintaining RPMs
*Linux kernel architecture & configuration
*General network and OS security
*OS installation and configuration
*Prior DBA experience, including the maintenance of DB integrity a plus
*Troubleshooting ability (x86 hardware)
*Ability to learn quickly, especially from written material
*Programming experience must include C
*Additional experience with Perl, Python, php, bash and C++/Java a plus
*A flexible, self-starting attitude with hands-on, individual contributor experience.
