Adequate or not, If they can get someone at that rate, then you can't really 
blame them for maximizing their resources.  And I think its likely that they 
would find someone at that rate(at this moment, I would take the job in 
heartbeat.) And Ive held jobs that have payed 2-3X as much.  I also have been 
paid less when I started out in the industry back in 1994.
