Subject: Manager, Development - Enterprise Security

At this time we can only consider candidates local to the SF/Bay Area.

Duties:

Lead the next generation of intrusion detection technology. Symantec is
looking for a motivated development manager to lead the enterprise
deception development group. This group is responsible for Symantec's
deception products including Symantec Decoy Server, formerly ManTrap. The
deception development manager will lead the development team through
requirements gathering, project planning, development and shipping. The
manager will be responsible for hiring talented developers, coaching and
managing the existing team as well as interfacing with other
organizations within Symantec.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have one to two years of experience managing a
software development team within the enterprise security space, and will
have successfully shipped a major version. In addition, experience in
intrusion detection, honeypots or cyber warfare, specifically, is a
strong plus.
