Experience/expertise in:

·       HP-UX version 10.20 or higher with an emphasis on security.
·       AIX version 4.3.2.0 or higher with an emphasis on security.
·
Experience/knowledge of:

·       Secured Shell (SSH)
·       Shell Scripting (Perl,POSIX, Korn, Bourne)
·       Sudo
·       Tripwire
·       Trusted Computing Base (TCB)
·       Hardening HP-UX or AIX servers
·       Convey Unix skills to individuals with limited Unix knowledge
·       Interface with business partners to:

a. Understand their security needs.
b. Design, develop or recommend secure UNIX solution.
c. Implement and support solution.

And other duties as assigned.

Understanding of:
·       Industry Security Standards
·       Unix security best practices
·       Problem and change management practices


This position also requires the following:
·       Strong commitment to customer service.
·       Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
·       Technical documentation writing skills.
·       Superior problem solving skills.
·       Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
·       Ability to work with individuals at all skill and knowledge
levels.
·       Ability to re-prioritize tasks as necessary.

GSEC Certification is a plus but not required.
GIAC Certification is a plus but not required.
CCISP Certification is a plus but not required.


Strong Customer Service skills are a MUST!
