  Presented by:
    Brian Lavender

The Open Source Security Information Management project
( http://www.ossim.net/ ) is a collection of tools designed to aid
network administrators in computer security, intrusion detection and
prevention. Its goal is to provide a comprehensive compilation of
tools which, when working together, grant a network/security
administrator with detailed view over each and every aspect of his
  networks/hosts/physical access devices/server/etc.

Brian will discuss the project, and then set up a virtual environment
of machines, and OSSIM for monitoring.
