[vox-announce] Reminder: Meeting tonight!

At tonight's LUGOD (once again at the Davis Library), Tim Riley will be
discussing "Appaserver," an Open Source application server for Linux that
couples the MySQL database with a web browser.

Appaserver lets you build database applications without painting or
programming screens. Once a database has been conceptualized, you simply
add the elements -- tables, columns, relations, and roles -- to the
Appaserver engine, then log in. Web forms are created dynamically,
allowing you to select, insert, update, and delete every record in your
database.

We've also got lots of random give-aways and some raffle items again tonight!

Also, officer nominations end today! E-mail typescript@lugod.org if you'd
like to nominate someone (including yourself).
