[vox-announce] Nov. 6th LUGOD Meeting: "QUEST" Remotely Operated Submarine
The Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD), will be holding a meeting on:

The topic will be:
"The 'QUEST' Remotely Operated Submarine"
presented by Tyler Schilling, ALSTOM Schilling Robotics
ALSTOM Schilling Robotics is the world's leading supplier of underwater
telerobotic manipulator systems for remotely operated vehicles (ROVs)
and cable trenching machines used in offshore oil, telecommunications,
scientific, and military operations.
ASR also produces the "QUEST" Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), a turnkey
electric work-class ROV system. Mr. Schilling will discuss the history of
this vehicle and its performance in the field.
